Our home is a bright and beautifully renovated 1920’s California Bungalow with a modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Leave your car at home and walk everywhere - the CBD, Hospital precinct and Lake Weeroona, with it’s boardwalk, café, walking tracks, playground and picnic areas are all close by. Jump on the Tourist Tram out front, to explore Bendigo with ease.

Featuring polished floorboards, stained glass windows, high ceilings, fireplaces and ducted heating and cooling, the house balances period style with modern functionality. There are three large bedrooms, two with King Size beds and the third with 2 King Single Beds. An inflatable double mattress is also available upon request. All linen and towels provided.

The modern kitchen looks out to the garden and has all amenities, including gas hotplates, electric oven and new microwave, kettle and toaster. Along with tea, coffee and sugar I have included a range of pantry staples such as flour, bread crumbs, oil, vinegar, rice, pasta, tinned products, long life milk and cream and a range of dried herbs if you are keen to cook local produce. There is a walk-in pantry and a European laundry with new washing machine and ironing facilities. Fire extinguisher and fire blanket provided.

Lounge area has 2 couches, a new 50” LCD television, books, dvd player and dvd’s, magazines and some games. There is a desk for working in the third bedroom.

The large garden is shaded by old trees and has scenic seating areas, a fantastic brick pizza oven, spacious lawn areas, a herb garden for you to enjoy. Garden furniture and gas bbq are in the Studio out the back for you to take out and use as you want. There is parking for a couple of cars and there is also street parking. Next door is a friendly local’s pub that has amazing meals and a nice casual beer garden. Plenty of other eating and drinking options are close by for eating in or taking away.

Cancellations received at any time will incur an administration fee from the Bendigo Visitor Centre of $27.50.

Bridge Haven allow cancellations up until 5 days prior to arrival. Within 5 days notice the first night and 50% of each additional night is non-refundable. No refunds available within 48 hours of check-in date.

From the Alexandra Fountain continue along Pall Mall, turn left into Nolan Street at Lake Weeroona and the first right into Bridge Street (following the tram tracks all the way). Bridge Haven is located on the right at number 142.
