Cobb and Co. Carriages Victoria has a very distinct and personal relationship with our Australian history. The founder Ben Hall was the great grandson of the infamous Bushranger Ben Hall. This takes you back to the yesteryear name "Cobb and Co" and how it is synonymous with quality coach transport in Australia.
The original "Cobb and Co. Coaches" venture is a highly regarded Australian icon, and the romance of coach travel is still used today to promote tourism in Australia - long after the last coach finished its route.
Cobb & Co Services We breed, train and educate our own horses. We make sure that each horse is suitable to the carriage operation (as some horses are just not suited for that particular exercise). Therefore, you can be confident that all the horses that we provide as carriage horses have been trained and tested and are suited to the task.

We cater for the rustic ‘yester year’ theme from hay bale wagon rides to the beautiful modern white wedding carriages; even the famous Cobb and Co stagecoach is available.

Bendigo Christmas Tours
Horse-Drawn Carriage rides are back for 2024 in Bendigo! For three nights only, book the family in for a tour of the Bendigo City Centre. Enjoy the sights from a different view as you're taken around the CBD by a pair of horse-shaped reindeer with your own personal guide - will it be Santa or his Elves?
Each carriage ride is 20 minutes and tours the Bendigo City Centre so you can enjoy the Historic Buildings and the Christmas decorations. Tours depart every 30 minutes from Sidney Myer Place (Sunday tours depart from Vahland Place).
Book in quickly so you don't miss out! Christmas Tours are available in December on Friday 20th, Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd.
Cancellations received at any time will incur an administration fee from the Bendigo Visitor Centre of $27.50 Full refunds offered if cancellation made 48 hours or more prior to tour. No refund available if cancellation made less than 48 hours prior to confirmed tour time.
Given this being our way of life & not just a business for us, our horses are our main priority and operation depends on the weather. We do not operate in extreme conditions; in the summer times we tend to operate in the afternoon-evening to avoid the hotter conditions. If your pre-booking is cancelled due to weather you will have the option of a full refund or to book an alternative date.
